Day 18 – 20 of Summer Trip 2014 – Burnham-on-Crouch

I’ve spent the last few days in Burnham-on-Crouch. I really like the place. Everyone’s warm and friendly and it has a real old worldly charm to it.

I took a trip out towards North Fambridge and sailed back on the Sunday for a couple of hours.

There was an open day at the RNLI Lifeboat Station

…and I met a couple who have Tri-maran! which looks like something of Star Wars, very cool!

The marina is also home to the slowest opening gate in the world. A note to any visiting yachtsmen, take a book to read while you wait for the gate to open 😉

I’ve also made a banana hammock in a bid to eat more healthily.
